Sweet Cece’s Open House: Free FroYo!

27 Jan

Sweet Cece’s is coming to Brentwood, and you know what that means…free froyo!!!

That’s right, whenever a new Sweet Cece’s springs forth from the ground (about once a week, right?) they have a little shindig with free froyo and toppings galore! And lucky us, today a Sweet Cece’s is opening up in Brentwood!

From 6-8pm tonight you can head on down to the new location (269 Franklin Rd. between Chipotle and Starbucks) and indulge in your favorite dessert with some of its other biggest fans.

Update: apparently there will also be an “extra special treat for all” at the open house tonight. I do wonder what it will be…

Free Korean BBQ at Pei Wei

25 Jan

Koren BBQ is a thing. There is a picture of Korean BBQ to the right. I’ve never actually had Koren BBQ but I know that some of my more adventurous friends enjoy it quite a lot. A lot of my friends also enjoy Pei Wei, which is convenient for my friends who love both, because tomorrow (the 26th) Pei Wei is giving away coupons to try their new Korean BBQ!

You don’t get the free BBQ tomorrow, but you will get a coupon that will allow you to try it for free between Jan. 31st and Feb. 6th. All you have to do is show up, ask for the voucher, and come back later. Not a bad deal, especially since no purchase in necessary.

Enjoy, Korean BBQ lovers. Your taste buds are more advanced than mine. Big thanks to Ryanne Cody for the tip!

Free Burritos at Qdoba – New Hermitage Location

20 Nov

It may not be quite the huge event that was the Chipotle burrito giveaway last year, but on this coming Monday, November 22nd, 100 happy, patient people will be getting free burritos from the new Qdoba in Hermitage.

The new Qdoba location, at 5225 Old Hickory, is celebrating its first day in true burrito fashion: giving away 100 free entrées.

But that’s not all they’re giving away! You’ll also get the chance to win some swag, and, if you pick up a Qdoba loyalty card, you could find that it has been pre-loaded with 1, 5, 10, 0r 20 free meals.

The doors will open on Monday November 22nd at 11am, so get there early to secure your spot in free-burrito glory.

Rumors 12 South 6th Anniversary Celebration

16 Nov

Tomorrow is a big day for one of 12 South’s favorite local restaurants. Rumors 12 South will be celebrating their 6th birthday tomorrow, and, as in typical Nashville fashion, they’re throwing a big ‘ol party.

Apparently there will be food, wine, art, and DJ Patrick Kearney, who will be spending the tunes.

It’s completely free to attend this event, but I’m honestly not sure if there will be free wine or food. I honestly wouldn’t expect it, but I imagine they’ll have specials and discounts, maybe even a wine tasting. It’s a bit of a mystery, but what’s wrong with that? Sometimes the mysterious events are the best (unless it involves the Kings of Leon NOT being the special 9 off 8th at the Mercy Lounge).

So there you go, you have the opportunity to support a great local business on their birthday, and you might even get a little somethin’ somethin’ out of it.

Again, this event will take place at Rumors on 12 South from 6-10pm on November 17th.

Free Jack in the Box Tacos

15 Nov

I have to admit, I’ve never had the pleasure (is that the right word?) of experiencing a Jack in the Box taco. Actually, I’ve never had Jack in the Box ANYTHING. Where I”m from jack in the box is just a creepy game that I’m pretty sure no one ever plays anymore.

But I digress. Tomorrow, Tuesday November 16th, Jack in the Box will be giving away two tacos to anyone who comes after 2pm (and wants them). You don’t even have to buy anything! Hard shells, ground beef, lettuce, some taco sauce, and sliced not shredded cheese.

Sliced cheese? Really? On a taco? What is the world coming to?

But I’m not being fair. for all I know those tacos are incredibly tasty. I mean, if no one liked them anyway then there wouldn’t be much point in giving them away. I have to say though, other than the promotional shots that probably don’t even contain edible food, just do not look appetizing. Limp shell with the grease all absorbed in it, super thin, weird limp lettuce. I’ll probably pass on this free deal honestly. I don’t care how they taste, they look terrifying.

But again, I’m not here to judge. I mean, I put tuna and peas in my mac’n'cheese, I have no room to judge. If Jack in the Box tacos are your jam then REJOICE and get your munch on.

National Doughnut Day

3 Jun

conquer

At N4F we love free food. Be it free tacos, free ice cream, or free Cobb salad (it could happen), we’re all over it.

Well, it looks like we’re getting some free baked goods tomorrow, Friday June 4th because it’s National Freaking Doughnut Day.

This means that major dought chains like Krispy Kreme are giving away free goods, and the goods are tasty.

KK is free with no purchase, but you have to buy a drink to get a free doughnut at DD. Is there even a Dunkin Donuts in Nashville? I don’t know.

So get on that doughnut train and get your free breakfast pastry! I will see you there!

Free Auntie Anne’s Pretzels

18 Feb

I don’t know if you feel the same way about Auntie Anne’s Pretzels, but when I walk by that stand at the mall I WANT some pretzels. The aroma is freaking incredible and they taste pretty excellent as well. One of the pretty good moments in my life was when I actually met Auntie Anne while carving a pumpkin depicting Flying Ace Snoopy while I was in the suburbs of Philly this past Halloween.

But I digress. I’m talking about Auntie Anne’s because this Saturday from 10am to 3pm every Auntie Anne’s in the country is giving away a free pretzel. You can either get an original or a cinnamon sugar one, and really, do the other kinds even matter? Limit is one per person. You can even get a wake up call, which seems unnecessary, but whatever.

Auntie Anne’s can be found at the following locations in Nashville:

  • The Green Hills Mall
  • Opry Mills
  • Mall at Hickory Hollow
  • Cool Springs
  • Rivergate Mall

Special thanks to @laurenbolek for the tip!
