Review: Wine on the River

Gorgeous day, perfect venue, and no empty glasses!

We got to spend an afternoon day-drinking over the Cumberland River and it was everything I hoped it’d be!

This glass wasn’t empty for long

The event was well-planned and easy to enjoy. Plenty of booths with lots of samples at each table. The lines were never more than a few people, and all moved very quickly. It was crowded, especially since the pedestrian bridge was still open to other visitors, but the wine and beautiful views kept everyone in a great mood.

As far as the wine, there was plenty of stuff I was familiar with, like Cupcake and Lonely Cow. Plus lots of higher end bottles to try. This was one of my favorites.

They also offered several wines made right here in Tennessee. This one had the ‘cutest’ branding.

For those not into wine, this event features a variety of other products distributed by Lipman including tequila and beers.

It was the perfect was to spend a gorgeous Saturday afternoon!
