BLVD music shop is the newest student-run business at Belmont University (right across from Bongo Java). The plan is it will sell instruments on consignment, so you can get some cash for one of those extra guitars you have laying around when you’re running low on Ramen and Easy Mac (hey, it is still part of Belmont).
But that’s not the part that’s most relative to this blog. You see, it’s opening weekend for BLVD Music Shop, and they’ve been partying it up all weekend with an open house on Saturday and performances by Couched, Jordan Hull, and Sons of Lions on Sunday.
If you missed the weekend’s festivities then fret not! Things are only getting better tonight, the final night of the grand opening. Not only will the awesome food trucks Taste of Belgium, Moovers and Shakers, and Pizza Buds be there, but there will be sweet live performances by Big Surr, Diarrhea Planet, Reid Magette, and Evan P. Donohue.
Some people hate on Belmont Bands as a rule, but that’s a pretty freaking solid line-up. Respect.
Things are getting started at 2006 Belmont Blvd at 6pm.
